Library Collection

CPET maintains a collection of books on teaching in the reserve section of Sherman Fairchild Library. These books are resources for learning about teaching and are also a good source on information when preparing a teaching statement for applying to faculty jobs. CIRTL Massive Open Online Courses (MOOC) on STEM Teaching

The Center for the Integration of Research, Teaching, and Learning (CIRTL) is an NSF center for learning and teaching in higher education. They offer a free online MOOC entitled “An introduction to Evidence-Based Undergraduate STEM Teaching” here. The course is available on demand or at various times throughout the year.

The USC Center for Excellence in Teaching

The USC Center for Excellence in Teaching (CET) is a university-wide fellow-driven organization dedicated to fostering and enhancing deep lifelong learning. They have an archive of teaching related talks for free viewing on the web. Check it out here.
